ABOUT Open Pizza Burger RECIPE

The buns are loaded with a colourful combo of veggies, perked up with herbs and spices, topped with cheese and cooked in the microwave for nothing more than half a minute! And there, you have a tasty pizza-like snack.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 tbsp finely chopped onions
  2. 6 tbsp finely chopped tricolour bell pepper
  3. 2 tbsp cabbage
  4. 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1/4 tsp Chilly flakes
  7. 2 burger buns
  8. 6-8 tbsp cheese

Instructions

  1. CUT 2 BURGER BUNS HORIZONTALLY FROM THE MIDDLE, LIKE THIS
  2. MELT 1 TSP BUTTER, GRILL THE BUNS LIGHTLY, KEEP ASIDE
  3. FOR THE TOPPING - TAKE 2 TBSP EACH OF CHOPPED ONIONS, CABBAGE & GREEN BELL PEPPER
  4. ADD 2 TBSP EACH OF RED & YELLOW BELL PEPPERS, 1 TSP ITALIAN SEASONING
  5. ADD SALT TO TASTE
  6. ADD 1/4 TSP RED CHILLI FLAKES, MIX WELL
  7. TAKE 1 TBSP PIZZA SAUCE, ADD 2 TBSP TOMATO KETCHUP, MIX
  8. APPLY THIE SAUCE MIX ON THE SLICED BUNS
  9. ADD 2 TBSP OF THE READY VEGGIE TOPPING
  10. SPRINKLE 2 TBSP GRATED CHEESE, SOME ITALIAN SEASONING
  11. MICROWAVE ON HIGH FOR 30 SECONDS
  12. THE PIZZA BURGERS ARE READY, SERVE HOT
