Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Moong daal 1 cup
  2. Ginger 1"chopped
  3. Green chilli 2-3 chopped
  4. Turmeric powder 1/4tsp
  5. Asafoetida 1/4tsp
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. Chopped vegetables 1cup(carrot,colorful capsicum, boiled peas, tomato etc)
  8. Chopped coriander leaves 3tbsp
  9. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. SOAK WHOLE MOONG DAAL FOR 2-3HOURS.
  2. THE PASTE SHOULD BE THICK.
  3. ADD SALT TO TASTE,
  4. 1/4TSP TURMERIC POWDER,
  5. 1/4TSP ASAFOETIDA.
  6. MIX WELL.
  7. ADD TO THE DAAL MIXTURE.
  8. MIX.
  9. GREASE A STEAMING PLATE.
  10. POUR THE MIXTURE.
  11. SPREAD EQUALLY AND FLATTERN THE TOP WITH THE BACKSIDE OF A SPOON.
  12. STEAM FOR 15-20MINS ON MEDIUM FLAME.
  13. INSERT A TOOTHPICK AND CHECK WHETHER IT'S COOKED OR NOT.
  14. TAKE OUT FROM THE STEAMER. COOL FOR 5 MINS AND CUT INTO DESIRED SHAPES.
  15. SHALLOW FRY IN A PAN TILL ALL THE SIDES COOKED WELL.
  16. FLIP IN BETWEEN.
