Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Kabuli chana 250gm
  2. Salt 1.5tsp
  3. Baking soda 1/2tsp
  4. Onion 2
  5. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  6. Haldi 1/2tsp
  7. Coriander jeera saunf powder 2tbsp
  8. Tomato 3
  9. Red chilli powder 1.5tsp
  10. Boiled potatoes 2
  11. Green chillies 5--6
  12. Coriander leaves 2tbsp
  13. Mint leaves 1tbsp
  14. Lemon juice 2tbsp
  15. Oil 1/2cup

Instructions

  1. SOAK 250GMS KABULI CHANA OVERNIGHT WITH A PINCH OF BAKING SODA
  2. WASH AND PUT IN COOKER TO BOIL
  3. ADD 1/4TSP BAKING SODA AND 1.5TSP SALT AND BOIL HIGH FOR 2 WHISTLE AND ON LOW HEAT FOR 2 WHISTLE
  4. HEAT 1/2 CUP OIL IN A KADHAI AND ADD PASTE OF 2 ONIONS
  5. ADD 1TBSP GINGER GARLIC PASTE, 1/2TSP HALDI POWDER, 2TBSP CORIANDER, JEERA AND SAUNF POWDER
  6. WHEN YOU SEE OIL LEAVING SIDES ADD 2 CHOPPED TOMATOES AND 1.5TSP RED CHILLI POWDER
  7. ADD 1/2CUP WATER AND COOK ON SLOW HEAT TILL MASALA LEAVES OIL
  8. ADD BOILED CHANA IN THE MASALA
  9. COOK FOR 15 MINUTES ON LOW HEAT COVERED AND THEN ADD CUBES OF 2 BOILED POTATOES,5 GREEN CHILLI
  10. ADD CHOPPED CORIANDER AND MINT LEAVES AND MIX
  11. COOK ON SLOW HEAT FOR FEW MINUTES AND ADD 2TBSP LEMON JUICE. SERVE HOT
