Ingredients Required For Making Banana Bhajiya
- Raw banana
- Water
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Coriander seeds – 1tsp
- Gram flour – 1cup
- Salt – according to taste
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – ¼ tsp
- Oil
- Coconut powder- ¼ cup
- Green chilli – 1
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Lemon – ½
- Coriander leaves – ¼ cup
Sanjeev Kapoor’s Banana Bhajiya Recipe
- First, take some raw banana, and start peeling it.
- Then, cut the banana into thin slices.
- Next, wash the banana in water.
- Then, take a frying pan and add cumin seeds and coriander seeds to it. Roast them until they give a fragrant aroma.
- Keep aside these roasted seeds in a bowl and then crush them into a powder.
- Later, add gram flour, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder in a bowl and mix it with the powder of cumin and coriander seeds.
- Then, add some water to the above mixture for the batter. Add the banana slice to the batter and deep fry them in hot oil.
- In another bowl, mix coconut powder, green chilli, lemon juice, coriander leaves, water, and salt together. Then, grind this in a mixer to get chutney.
- Finally, enjoy banana bhajiya along with the freshly prepared chutney.
