Ingredients to make Dabeli in bengali

  • boiled and mashed potatoes
  • oil 3-4 tablespoons
  • 1lemon
  • Sugar 3-4 pinches
  • dabeli masala 4-5 tablespoon
  • water (to make paste of dabeli masala
  • onion 1 medium finely chopped
  • peanuts (masala peanuts)
  • sev (optional)

How to make Dabeli in bengali

  1. Heat oil in a thick bottom pan and add lemon juice to add. Lower the flame and add paste made from dabeli masala to it add sugar and boiled and mashed potatoes
  2. Once the sabji is ready let it cool
  3. Now finely chop the onion and add masala peanuts to it
  4. Heat the pav add the sabji to it. Make sure the onions and peanuts are on top so that they add texture it it. Make it like a sandwich
  5. Coat the sides with sev and serve with chutney
