The Tawa Paneer Tikka is a tandoori dish that makes for a great appetizer at parties and family gatherings. One of the more popular dishes of Indian cuisine, Paneer Tikka has been reinvented and recreated by restaurants across the world. Paneer is a very versatile ingredient that can be cooked in innumerable ways.

The Tawa Paneer Tikka takes this versatile ingredient and presents it in a way that is both healthy and delicious. The step-by-step guidance given by her to create this healthy snack is clear and easy to follow. The key to making the perfect Tawa Paneer Tikka lies in the marination of the paneer cubes. For the marination, put all the spices and powders in a bowl with curd and lemon. Mix this well and ensure that when the paneer cubes are placed into the batter, both sides are coated well. Let the paneer marinate in this mixture for a few hours. Though time-consuming, the marination of the paneer will ensure that all the spices are infused well into the paneer cubes, which will then ensure that the paneer is packed with lovely flavours when it is finally cooked on the tawa. So go ahead and make this appetising starter for your family and friends at your next house party!

This easy recipe of Tawa paneer tikka is given by our home chef Saba Rehman which requires only 2 minutes for cooking.

In a country that is dominated by vegetarians, paneer is a rich source of proteins. Though a vegetarian diet is comparatively healthier than a non-vegetarian one, one of the major issues facing vegetarian people is that they lack sources of proteins. Lentils and paneer are the only food items that provide proteins to people following a vegetarian diet. Paneer helps to strengthen bones and teeth. The protein content of paneer makes it extremely beneficial for weight management and improving metabolism in both children and adults alike. Paneer helps to lower the risk of cancer but also improves heart health by reducing the risk of heart diseases and controlling blood pressure. Paneer also has a host of benefits for kids and should be included in their diet as well. By providing nourishment and improving growth and development among children, paneer helps to strengthen immune systems and prevents malnutrition in children. But apart from nutritional benefits, paneer also has lots of benefits for skin and hair. The Vitamin B, proteins, fatty acids and antioxidants present in paneer help to promote healthy hair and skin and also have anti-ageing benefits such as prevention of wrinkles.
