Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Paneer( frozen) 300 gms
  2. Onion 2 small
  3. Garlic pods 3
  4. Ginger 1 inch
  5. Tomato 2 small
  6. Dry coconut powder 1/3 cup
  7. Sesame seeds 1/4 cup
  8. Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
  9. Green chilli 2
  10. Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  11. Turmeric powder 1/3 tsp
  12. Cumin powder 1 tsp
  13. Chopped coriander leaves 3 tbsp
  14. FRESH CREAM 2 TBSP
  15. Whole cumin seeds 1/3 tsp

Instructions

  1. Soak dessicated coconut and sesame seeds for 30 minute in enough warm water , remove extra water , add green chillies and make smooth paste.
  2. Blanch frozen paneer , keep them immersed in water until we use them in the gravy.
  3. Make paste of ginger garlic and onions together , keep aside
  4. Make tomato purée and keep aside
  5. In a kadai heat oil , add whole cumin seeds and bay leaf , allow to splutter
  6. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder and chilli powder , saute for 30 seconds in low heat
  7. Add onion,ginger and garlic paste , saute until dry in low heat
  8. Add tomato purée , saute again in low heat for 2 minutes
  9. Remove paneer from water , add to the kadai , combine them with spices mixture , add salt also. Mix catefully
  10. Add coconut and sesame seeds paste , cover and cook in low heat for 5 mins . Check in between .
  11. Add 1 1/2 cup of hot water , cook paneer and gravy in medium to high heat for 5-7 minutes.
  12. Mix fresh cream to the gravy , switch off gas when gravy thickens.
  13. Add garam masala and chopped coriander leaves .
  14. Serve hot with paratha and pulao
