About Buns Recipe

Soft and spongy buns , can have it for moning breakfast,or evening with a cup of tea.


Ingredients to make Buns

  • 4 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tesp yeast
  • 1 1/2 tesp salt
  • 1 tesp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 4 to 5 tbsp soft butter

How to make Buns

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and knead it.It will look sticky, as you knead it will turn soft and smooth.
  2. Make a round ball of the dough and brush it with 1tesp oil.
  3. Place this in a greased bowl and cover with cling film. Let the dough double.
  4. Deflate the dough,divide to 8 pieces.
  5. Shape each piece to a round ball.Place them on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Brush with milk,and allow to rise for the second time.
  7. Preheat your oven 180℃ for 10 minutes.
  8. Bake them at 170℃ for 20 minutes.Remove give an egg wash or milk wash,place it back in oven ,increase temperature to 200℃ with the top rod on for 2 to 3 minutes or till it turns brown.
  9. Remove cool,buns are ready.
