Cheesy Rosti

Ingredients to make Cheesy Rosti

  • Raw potatoes big sized 2
  • onions finely chopped 1
  • Mozzarella cheese half cup (grated )
  • salt as per taste
  • Oregano flakes 1/2 tsp
  • Chili flakes as per taste
  • Yellow butter 25 grams

How to make Cheesy Rosti

  1. Take the potatoes peel them and grate them with a grater.(Do not squeeze the water)
  2. Add chopped onions.
  3. Now add salt,oregano,chili flakes and mix it well.
  4. Take a flat pan add butter to it.
  5. Spread the grated potatoes in the pan and press it gently now add more butter on the top and in the center of the rosti.
  6. Check it with the help of a knife that it should be properly cooked and a little golden in color.
  7. Then go for a flip.Add more butter if needed.
  8. Press it gently with the help of a spatula.
  9. When both sides turn golden in color, then switch off the flame.
  10. Start the plating by spreading mozzarella cheese and fold it and cut it into pieces.
  11. Enjoy your swiss dish at home.
