A sweet dish of vermicelli,very much loved on the occasion of Eid festival.


Ingredients to make Muzaffar.

  • Vermicelli(sevai)200 grams
  • Khoya100grams
  • cottage cheese 50grams
  • butter/ghee 2table spoons
  • Green cardemom 2_3
  • Chopped pistachoi 2table spoon
  • Chopped cashew 1 table spoon
  • raisins 20_25 nos.
  • Chopped almond 1 table spoon
  • coconut julians 10_15 nos
  • Silver foil few pieces
  • sugar 1cup
  • water 250ml.
  • Kewra water 1tea spoon.

How to make Muzaffar.

  1. Take sugar in a pan and add water,heat till sugar dissolves in water.when bubbles stert coming out ,remove from fire and keep aside.
  2. Put another pan on stove on medium flame.
  3. Add butter or ghee as your desire,when warm add splitted green cardemoms.
  4. Add sevaiyan and fry on low flame till golden.
  5. Fry for 2_3 minuted then add dry fruits.
  6. Further fry for 1minute on low flame.
  7. Now add sugar syrup,we 've made earlier
  8. Raise the flame from low to medium.
  9. Stir well gently to avoid clumsiness.
  10. Cook for 2minutes,now sevaiyan are looking somewhat fluffy.
  11. Now add khoya and crushed cheese .
  12. Mix well.leave for 2minutes on low flame.
  13. Add kewra water and dish out.
  14. Garnish with silver foil and chopped dry fruits.

My Tip:

I 've used butter instead of ghee,because in butter muzaffar is more delicious.
