Thai cuisine has become the hot favourite of Indians. This green curry needs no introduction. Serve it with steamed rice and dive into world of bursting flavours.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2 spring onions with green part
  2. 2 lemongrass leaves
  3. 2 Tbsp Coriander leaves
  4. 2-3 green chillies
  5. 1 inch piece Ginger
  6. 350 gms chicken cut into pieces & boiled
  7. 1 cups coconut milk
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Tiny piece of jaggery(optional )
  10. 1 tbsp coriander powder
  11. 2 spoons oil


  1. First prepare green paste by grinding everything together in the mixer with little of water.
  2. Now in a heavy bottom pan put oil. Add prepared green paste. Saute it. After some time add salt and coriander powder. Mix nicely.
  3. Now add boiled chicken pieces. Cover and let it simmer for a while.
  4. Now add coconut milk. Mix well. Cover and cook till everything is mixed nicely. Add jaggery to balance the acidity and flavors. (Its totally optional)
  5. Let it simmer till all the flavours are incorporated nicely.
  6. Garnish it with chopped red chillies and garnish with coriander leaves.
  7. Serve it with steamed rice
