    Bakery Style Nan Khatai

    Ingredients to make Bakery Style Nan Khatai

    • all purpose flour 1 cup
    • semolina 3 tbsp
    • gram flour / Besan 1/2 cup
    • Powdered sugar 3/4 cup or as required
    • Desi ghee 1/2 cup
    • cardamom Powder 1 tsp
    • salt a pinch
    • Dry fruits (optional) for garnishing

    How to make Bakery Style Nan Khatai

    1. In a mixing bowl sieve and add all purpose flour, semolina and gram flour.
    2. Add in powdered sugar , cardamom powder and a pinch of salt.
    3. Combine all the ingredients well and now you have to add ghee.
    4. Pour in the ghee and prepare a soft dough.
    5. The texture of the dough should be as shown in the below pic.
    6. Take a small portion of the dough and shape like a peda and make hole at the centre with the help of your finger.
    7. You can fill the hole with dry fruits of your choice. Preheat the oven in convection mode and bake the nan khatai @ 150 degree celsius for 15 minutes.
    8. Once cooled store them in an airtight container and serve as required.
