Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup besan
  2. 3/4 cup spinich finally chhoped
  3. Salt according to taste
  4. 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
  5. 1 tbsp sugar
  6. 1/2 tbsp mustard
  7. 1/2 tbsp seesme seeds
  8. 1/2 tbsp fennel
  9. 2-3 tsp oil
  10. Water as requaried
  11. 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
  12. Curry leaves 5-6
  13. 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste


  1. Firstly take a mixing bowl add finally chopped spinich, gram flaur(besan)
  2. Then add salt, sugar, lime juice and turmeric powder nd ginger garlic paste
  3. Then mix all the ingredients nicely nd add a little water as required for the binding batter (better should be not wet, it will be like tight dough)
  4. Then next step shape the batter with the help of your hand like muthiya
  5. Now heat a steamer or idli stand and grees the steamer plate or idli molds and keep the dhokla, s in the greese mold then cover with the lid and steam it for 20-25 minutes
  6. After 20 minutes check the dhokla, s with the toothpick if it will be clean come out its done
  7. Next step is take a tadka pan add oil nd heat it add curry leaves mustard, and sessme seeds, fennel seeds nd tempering it nd pour the dhokla, s on tadka
  8. Now it's ready to eat
