This is a perfect recipe of starter or snacks, especially for Ramdan Iftars and Eid parties. A quick recipe made with potatoes.

Crispy - Chatpatay Aaloo

Ingredients to make Crispy - Chatpatay Aaloo

  • Small medium sized boiled potatoes
  • 4 tablespoon cornflour
  • 2 tbsp maida
  • 100 gram's curd
  • Refined oil for frying (one Big Bowl)
  • one teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • One teaspoon chaat masala
  • One teaspoon coriander powder
  • Half teaspoon roasted jeera powder
  • 1 cup green coriander leaves
  • Two lemon juice

How to make Crispy - Chatpatay Aaloo

  1. first of all boil potato in pressure cooker, when it steam comes out then take them out and peel the skin.
  2. Now take a bowl put all potatoes pricked by toothpick, maida, corn flour all dried spices above-mentioned with a tablespoon of curd marinate them for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Now take a pan put oil in it and when it becomes hot put marinated potatoes with marination in it.
  4. When marination is dried and potatoes leave the surface of Pan then Sprinkle coriander leaves on it.
  5. Now take a serving plate and put all those masala marinated chatpata potatoes on it and Sprinkle little chat masala and coriander leaves on it.

My Tip:

If you will put lemon juice on Chatpatay- crispy potatoes it's taste will increase.
