Muhalabiya is a very famous dessert of Arabia. It is basically a milk pudding layered with rose flavoured cream and topped with lots of dry fruits.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For pudding:
  2. Milk 1 litre
  3. Corn flour 3 table spoon
  4. Sugar 5 table spoon
  5. Vanilla 2 teaspoon
  6. For rose cream:
  7. Whipped cream 5 table spoon
  8. Roo Afjah 3 table spoon
  9. Dry fruits almond, walnut chopped for garnishing
  10. Piping bag


  1. Mix corn flour with cold milk.
  2. Boil all ingredients of pudding together.
  3. When becomes thick, sieve the mixture.
  4. Now add whipped cream and rose syrup and whip until stiff peaks form.
  5. Take long glasses.
  6. Add some rose syrup and chopped dry fruits at the bottom.
  7. Now add the layer of whipped cream and keep in freezer to set the layer.
  8. Now add the milk pudding layer.
  9. Add whipped cream with the help of a piping bag just at the top of the milk pudding layer.
  10. Add some rose syrup at the top and make designs with toothpick.
  11. Chill and serve delicious Muhalabiya.
