Ingredients to make cheesy macaroni stuffed buns

  • 100 grams Macaroni
  • 4 Burger buns
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 7-8 garlic pods, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1-2 green chillies, chopped
  • 2 medium sized tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soya sauce
  • salt according to taste
  • 2 tbsp refined oil
  • 1 Teaspoon oregano
  • 1 small cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

How to make cheesy macaroni stuffed buns

  1. Boil 1,1/2 large cups of water in a pan, add macaronis, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp oil. Cook macaronis for about 4-5 minutes on medium flame.
  2. Now turn off the flame and drain the macaronis.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion, garlic and green chillies. Sauté for 3 to 4 minutes on medium flame till golden.
  4. Now add ginger paste. Saute for another 30 to 40 seconds
  5. Now add chopped tomatoes and salt, keep on stirring till they turn soft and pulpy.
  6. Next add tomato and soya sauce, mix well with the spices.
  7. Add boiled Macaronis.
  8. Next add salt and cook the macaronis for about 3 to 4 minutes and then turn off the flame. Keep aside to cool.
  9. Add shredded cheese and mix well with the stuffing.
  10. Now with a spoon, scoop out the centre of the buns carefully and spread butter inner portions of the buns.
  11. Stuff the buns with macaroni stuffing and sprinkle some oregano over the buns.
  12. Also sprinkle some shredded cheese.
  13. Preheat the oven at 170 degree Celsius and bake them for about 8 to 10 minutes. Serve hot.
