Chicken Barbecue sauce

Ingredients to make Chicken Barbecue sauce

  • 3 to 4 juicy pieces of chicken
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 1/2 Tblspn ginger garlic paste
  • salt to taste
  • Whole pieces of cinnamon cloves cardomom a few or 1tsp powder of these
  • 1 tblspn fat butter i.e Nutrela butter
  • 1/2 red chilli powder
  • Any Barbaque sauce available in the market,I used Veeba barbaque sauce

How to make Chicken Barbecue sauce

  1. Pressure cook chicken pieces with ginger garlic paste, salt to taste pepper and the garam masala whole or powder.
  2. Add 3-4 glasses water and boil till chicken is tender
  3. Cool and remove pieces, keep stock aside.
  4. Debone the chicken and shred into medium pieces.
  5. Now melt butter in a pan add julienne, cut onions saute and add the chicken and red chilli powder.
  6. Saute for a minute and now add little chicken stock handy ,simmer covered for 2-3minutes as drying happens add 2 tablespoon of Barbaque sauce.
  7. Assess the gravy required by you, if more Gravy required add sum stock and sum more barbaque sauce and cook for at least ten minutes on slow gas.
  8. Use with hot steamed rice
  9. Options : Make it dry nd make it filling for rolls too.

My Tip:

Do fresh cooking as and when serving. Can boil chicken though and keep before hand but ready only when eating. Use softer pieces of chicken
