Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For vada :-
  2. Moong daal 1/2 cup
  3. Urad daal 1/2 cup
  4. Chana daal 1/4 Cup
  5. Water as needed
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Green chilli chopped 4
  8. Ginger 1 pieces chopped
  9. oil 2 tbsp
  10. Eno 1/2 tsp
  11. Asafetida 2 pinch
  12. Carom seeds 1/4 tsp
  13. For serving :-
  14. Dahi 500 gram
  15. Sweet red chatni 1 cup
  16. Green chatni 1 cup
  17. Aloo bhujiya sev 1 cup
  18. Masala bundi 1 cup
  19. Masala peanuts 1/2 cup
  20. Pomegranate pearls 1/2 cup
  21. Masala cashew 1 /2 cup
  22. chopped coriander leaves 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl add moong daal, urad daal and chana dal then wash it 4 to 5 times.
  2. Now add enough water and soak the daal for 2 hours.
  3. After that remove extra water from daal then grind it in a coarse paste.
  4. Add green chilli and ginger and paste again.
  5. Shift the mixture in a bowl add salt, asafoetida, carom seeds and oil.
  6. Mix it and keep aside for 2 hours.
  7. Now for baking take a large kadai add 2 cup salt and heat for 10 minutes.
  8. Keep ready greased cake tin for baking vada cake.Now take a mixture add 1/2 tsp eno and give quick mix.
  9. Pour this mixture in cake tin and bake it in preheatd kadai fir 25 to 30 minutes.
  10. After 25 minutes cake will start to turn out browinish in colour.
  11. Check it with clean knife. Remove from kadai and leave it for room temperature.
  12. Remove the cake carefuly and cut into 2 part.Now take a serving plate and shift 1st layer of cake.
  13. Pour 2 or 3 full laddle of thick curd on cake.Pour sweet chatni then green chatni.
  14. Now keep another layer of cake and again pour thick curd on top evenly.
  15. Pour sweet and green chatni.
  16. garnish with aloo bhujiya sev, masala bundi,masala cashew, masala peanuts.
  17. Sprinkle some pomegranate pearls and chopped coriander leaves on top.
  18. Serve it with extra chatnies and thick curd with sev, bundi and cold drinks of your choice.
  19. A very healthy version for food lover.
