ABOUT Caprese Garlic Bread RECIPE

Garlic bread with fresh mozzarella cheese, tomatoes,basil and a drizzle of blasmic vinegar.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ciabatta bread 1 Loaf
  2. Salted butter. 4 Tbsp
  3. Garlic cloves minced 3 cloves
  4. Fresh mozzarella cheese sliced 1 pack.
  5. Blasmic vinegar 1/2 Cup
  6. Tomatoes sliced 2 medium
  7. Slat as per taste
  8. Freshly ground pepper/Pepper powder As per taste
  9. Fresh basil chopped 1/4 Cup

Instructions

  1. Step for preparing Blasmic reduction:-
  2. Place the blasmic vinegar in a small sauce pan.
  3. Bring the vinegar to a boil|, decrease the heat to low,and simmer.
  4. Stirring occasionally, until the mixture is reduced by about half.
  5. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Set aside to cool down.
  7. Steps for preparing garlic bread:-
  8. Preheat oven at 220 *C for 10 minutes.
  9. Horizontally cut the bread loaf.
  10. Place both sides of the baguette on a large baking sheet with the cut side up.
  11. In a small bowl, combine butter and garlic.
  12. Spread garlic butter evenly on bread halves.
  13. Place the mozzarella cheese slices on top of the bread.
  14. Bake the bread for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  15. Remove the bread from oven.
  16. Top the bread with tomato slices.
  17. Season with salt and pepper.
  18. Add the fresh basil and drizzle with blasmic reduction.
  19. Cut into slices and serve.
