Jaljeera is a spicy Indian drink which is very good for digestion It is served as an appetizer before meals I gave it a twist of aam panna

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1/2 cup Aam Panna
  2. 4-5 mint leaves
  3. 1/2 cup cleaned n washed coriander leaves
  4. 1 tsp Black salt
  5. ½ tsp Dry Mango Powder/Amchoor Powder
  6. 1tsp salt
  7. 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  8. 4-5 cups chilled water
  9. 1 tsp lemon juice
  10. 1 tsp sugar
  11. 1/2 tsp ginger powder
  12. 2tsp Roasted Cumin Seeds Powder
  13. Pinch of Asafetida
  14. boondi for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Take Aam Panna in a blender and blend it with mint leaves, coriander leaves, ginger powder, cumin powder, pinch of asafetida, black salt, salt, ½ tsp chaat masala, dry mango powder and lemon juice.
  2. Make it into a smooth paste like consistency and add 4 cups of chilled water.
  3. Blend it once again.
  4. strain the mixture
  5. Aam Panna Jal jeera drink is ready to relish! To serve, garnish with some more mint leaves and boondi.
