About Mango flower SANDESH Recipe

Innovation of mine. Mango sandesh is truly delicious. Made it in different way, shape of flower. Although mango pulp was not mix with chhana but taste was as usual delicious.

Mango flower SANDESH

Ingredients to make Mango flower SANDESH

  • Chhana 1 cup
  • sugar 2-3 tablespoonas per taste
  • cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Rose water 1/2 teaspoon
  • Kewra water 1/4 teaspoon
  • For mango sheet
  • mango pulp 3 cups
  • sugar 1 cup depending on sourness of mango

How to make Mango flower SANDESH

  1. Add sugar with mango pulp and cook for 5 minutes on low heat. Pour the cooked mixture on a ghee greased tray and spread evenly. Dry it under the fan for 3-4 to days. Mango sheet is ready.
  2. Mash the chhana and make it smooth. Add sugar and cook in a non stick pan on low heat for 10 - 12 minutes with wooden spatula. Add cardamom powder, rose water and kewra water. Kept aside for cool.
  3. Cut the mango sheet by cookie cutter in roundel.
  4. Take 4 nos of mango sheet roundel and line it one after another by overlapping. Spread chhana sandesh mixture on it.
  5. Roll the mango roundel tightly. Just like one roll.
  6. Cut it in the middle and make it two nos.
  7. Stand the flower in a paper cup and serve.

My Tip:

Donot spread hot chhana mixture on the mango roundel.
