Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Moong sprouts 2 cups
  2. Gram flour 1 cup
  3. Green Chili paste 1 tbsp
  4. Turmeric 1 tsp
  5. Garam masala 1 tsp
  6. Coriander powder 2 tsp
  7. Amchur powder 2 tsp
  8. Fennel seeds powder 2 tsp
  9. Lemon juice 1 tsp
  10. salt as per taste
  11. Oil 2 tsp
  12. Refined flour 2 cups
  13. Oil 1 tbsp
  14. Salt to taste
  15. Water as require for kneading
  16. Curd 1 cup
  17. Mint chutney 1 tbsp
  18. Tomato Ketchup 1 Tbsp
  19. Bikaner sev 1 cup for garnishing
  20. Green chilies 5
  21. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in wok. Add gram flour and saute for 2 min.Now add green chili paste and saute for few seconds. Add coarsely ground moong sprouts and mix well. Saute till moisture evaporates.Now add turmeric,aamchur powder,garam masala,fennel powder,salt and mix well.
  2. Shape mixture into lemon sized balls.Keep it aside. Add refined flour, 1 tbsp oil,salt, water in a bowl and knead semi soft dough. Cover and rest dough for 30 min. Divide dough into equal balls. Roll into thin chapatis. Add moong sports stuffing and seal as shown in picture
  3. Press Kachoris from center and flatten it like puris. Do not press the corners. Deep fry kachoris in oil over medium heat until golden brown
  4. Serve Kachoris hot with curd,mint chutney,tomato ketchup,bikaner sev,fried chilies.
