ABOUT Veg Pizza RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For Pizza Dough:
  2. 500 gms maida
  3. 1 1/2 tsp dry yeast
  4. 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Ajwain a pinch
  7. 1 tbsp oil
  8. Water for kneading
  9. Topping:
  10. Chopped Capsicum 1 cup
  11. Chopped tomato 1 cup
  12. Chopped onion 1 cup
  13. 2 cup shredded proccessed cheese
  14. 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  15. Pizza sauce as required
  16. Oregano as per taste
  17. Chilli flakes as per taste
  18. Any pizza seasoning of choice

Instructions

  1. For pizza dough: Mix all the ingredients and make a soft sticky dough. Keep aside for about 2 hours or till it is double in size.
  2. Preheat the oven for 5 minutes at 200 degree temperature. Take the pizza plate and grease with oil and make flat pizza bread with your hand and fingers. Bake for 10 minutes.
  3. After 10 minutes, prick with a fork and bake for 5 minutes more at the same 200 degree temperature, place it on the middle rack and in the toast mode.
  4. When toasted nicely spread pizza sauce and all the chopped vegetables, cheese and bake again for 10 minutes. Remove pizza from middle rack to lower rack and change the mode from toast to bake for a crispy base for 5 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle seasoning of your choice and serve hot.
