About Coconut cream coffee jelly cake Recipe

Coconut cream coffee jelly cake

Ingredients to make Coconut cream coffee jelly cake

  • For coffee layer
  • 4 tsp instant coffee
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1 cup water
  • For the cream layer
  • 3/4 cup coconut cream ( this is the top layer of the coconut milk )
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 20 gram agar agar
  • 5 tbsp sugar ( add more if you like it sweeter)

How to make Coconut cream coffee jelly cake

  1. Heat 1/2 cup water and dissolve the agar agar powder.
  2. Add sugar in the agar agar powder mixture when it was totally dissolved. Keep aside.
  3. Pour Instant coffee powder in the 1/4 cup hot water and mix it well. Add 1 cup water in the coffee. Add half of the agar agar liquid in it. Keep aside for cool.
  4. Mix milk with coconut cream properly and rest of the agar agar mixture. Keep aside
  5. Make a ice cold bath with use of ice cubes. Keep moulds in the ice bath and pour coffee mixture for 1st layer. Wairt for while to set .
  6. After pouring of coffee , for 2nd layer pour coconut cream mixture.
  7. Fill the moulds like this only one after another. Keep the moulds in the fridge for 2-3 hours to be full set..
  8. After cake was set ,de-mould the cake and serve.
  9. Coffee and coconut cream layered jelly cake was ready to serve.
