Mango Surprise

Ingredients to make Mango Surprise

  • 1 ripe mango (preferably alphonso)
  • 4-5 slices of white bread
  • Half cup milk
  • Half cup water
  • Vanilla ice cream

How to make Mango Surprise

  1. Chop the mangoes into very small chunks.
  2. Mix water and milk.
  3. Take a slice of bread, dip it into water milk mixture and squeeze it out with a light hand.
  4. Put chopped mangoes in centre of the dipped bread and fold the bread and make round balls out of it (same as while making a bread roll). Do the same with other slices.
  5. Put the filled breads on a glassware tray or any deep tray.
  6. Generously pour melted vanilla ice cream over it so that all rolls are dipped into ice cream.
  7. Garnish it with saffron strands and dry fruits of your choice and let it set in refrigerator (not in freezer) for about 6-7 hours or overnight. Enjoy your dessert.

My Tip:

Use alphonso mangoes for better taste.
