Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Raw banana 4
  2. Mustard seed 1 spoon
  3. Cumin 1 spoon
  4. Garlic pod 1
  5. Tomato 2
  6. Turmeric powder 1 spoon
  7. Salt as per ur taste
  8. Red chilli powder 1 spoon
  9. Coriander leaf
  10. Mustard oil 4 spoon

Instructions

  1. Grind tomato and mustard together in a grinder. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Add the green banana pieces and saute for 2-3 minutes, till the surface of the vegetables is slightly browned. Drain, remove and keep aside
  3. Add the rest of the oil in the same kadai and heat.
  4. Add panch phoran and let crackle. Add red chilli and fry for 2-3 secs.
  5. Add garlic paste and saute till you get the aroma.
  6. Now add tomato-mustard paste, chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder and 2 tbsp water, and saute till oil separates.
  7. Add water, mix and bring to boil
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with plain rice.
