About Butter Garlic Prawns Recipe

This recipe is very simple, quick and easy to make.

Butter Garlic Prawns

Ingredients to make Butter Garlic Prawns

  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 15 medium sized raw prawns, peeled with tail on
  • 2 tablespoon crushed garlic
  • 2 tablespoon green garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon crushed black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 2 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon cornflour slurry (dissolve 1/2 teaspoon conflour into 2 teaspoon water)
  • 2-3 tablespoon water
  • salt to taste

How to make Butter Garlic Prawns

  1. 1. Heat 2 tablespoon butter in a pan and add prawns to it.
  2. 2. Toss this well and add salt.Keep the flame on high.
  3. 3.When the prawns turn orange or golden, add in crushed garlic .
  4. 4. Now add chopped garlic green,2 tablespoon butter and toss again.
  5. 5. Now Add chopped parsley and mix.
  6. 6. Now increase flame and add in 2-3 tablespoon water into it.
  7. 7. Now add chilli flakes along with freshly crushed black pepper.Give it a mix.
  8. 8. To thicken the sauce,add in cornflour slurry and stir.Cook for 2 minutes more.
  9. 9. Now add in lemon juice and mix.
  10. 10. When done switch off the flame.
  11. 11. Take it out in a serving bowl.
  12. 12. Delicious Butter Garlic Prawns are ready to eat.

My Tip:

Serve with noodles or fried rice.
