ABOUT Tangy Quinoa Butter Cookies RECIPE

This is one of the easiest biscuit recipes that dont require much blending of flavours.they are pretty healthy and ofcourse tasty.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup refined flour
  2. 1/2 cup quinoa flour
  3. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  4. 1/2tsp baking powder
  5. 1 cup butter(at room temperature)
  6. 1/2 cup brown sugar
  7. 2 tblsp milk powder
  8. 1 egg
  9. 1 tsp orange essence

Instructions

  1. Mix refined flour,quinoa flour,milk powder ,baking soda and baking powder in a large bowl and sift.
  2. In another bowl beat together sugar and butter.
  3. Once the mixture is smooth add in the egg and beat until creamy.
  4. Finally add in the orange essence.
  5. Now very carefully fold in the dry ingredients into the wet and mix until everything is perfectly combined.
  6. Grease a baking tray with little oil.Now plop little scoops of batter and flatten the top slightly.
  7. They will expand on cooking so leave enough space between each scoop.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350'C for about 10minutes or until edges become a little hard.
  9. Let the cookies cool and harden for a few minutes.
