ABOUT Tri Colour Sandesh RECIPE

Sandesh is a very famous sweet of Bengal.But I made it tri colour to celebrate the Independence day.I have used all natural colour,no artificial colour added.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Full fat milk...2ltr
  2. Vinegar...2tspn
  3. Carrot...2
  4. Spinach...1bunch
  5. Milkmaid....200gm
  6. Vanilla essence ...few drops
  7. Milk...1cup


  1. Make a paste of spinach leaves.
  2. To avoid the raw smell of spinach boil it with enough water.
  3. Then strain it & store the natural green colour
  4. For orange colour, make a paste of carrot.
  5. Boil milk & add vinegar to make planeet.
  6. For white colour sandesh, heat ghee & add paneer, milkmaid & vanilla essence .
  7. When it will start to leave sides of the pan, switch off the flame.Make it cool & mash it then.
  8. For green colour sandesh, heat ghee, add paneer, green spinach colour,milkmaid & vanilla essence.
  9. Cook it & when it will start to leave sides of the pan ,switch off the flame.Similarly, make it cool & switch off the flame.
  10. For orange colour sandesh, heat ghee , add carrot paste, milkmaid & milk.Cook it for few minutes.
  11. Add paneer & vanilla essence.
  12. When it will start to leave sides, switch off then.
  13. Now leave the dough's for half an hour.
  14. Now take small portion from 3 dough's & make sandesh.
