ABOUT Cream Brule RECIPE

It is also called as burnt cream as the top of this dessert is caramalized by sprinkling brown and white sugar.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Egg yolk 3pcs.
  2. White sugar 3tbsp
  3. Vanilla essence 1tbsp
  4. Orange liquor 10ml
  5. Cream 150ml
  6. Milk 150ml
  7. Brown sugar 1tbsp
  8. Fresh berries (for toppings) 30gram

Instructions

  1. Measure all the ingredients as per the recipe.
  2. In a clean bowl beat the egg yolk and aad only 2 tablespoon of white sugar along with the vanilla essence and keep beating.
  3. Pour cream and milk to a separate clean saucepan and keep stirring at low flame till to boling.
  4. Remove from the flame and gradually add the egg yolk mix. Keep stirring and prevent lump formation.
  5. Now pour this mixture to a pan and cook in double boiler for 3mnts till coating consistency .
  6. Pour the mix into flat remkein and bake it in double boiler.
  7. Once baked, spread the mixture of brown and white sugar on top.
  8. Caramalize it to a uniform colour using blow torch.
  9. Garnish with fresh berries.
