ABOUT Saano RECIPE

Its a Goan breakfast recipe. It's made from Suji rava with a tempering of mustard seeds , hing, turmeric and curry leaves

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Suji rava 1 cup
  2. Water 2 cups
  3. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  4. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  5. Hing 1/2 tsp
  6. Curry leaves few
  7. Fresh grated coconut 2 tbsp
  8. Sugar to taste
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Ghee 3 tbsp
  11. Green chillies 2
  12. Corriander leaves few

Instructions

  1. Dry roast the rava till slightly brown
  2. Heat ghee in a pan. Add mustard seeds
  3. When they splutter add slit chlies, hing ,turmeric powder and curry leaves
  4. Add the roasted rava and water
  5. Once it Cooks add coconut, sugar and salt
  6. Garnish with corriander leaves
