ABOUT Stuffed Capsicum RECIPE

Yummy tasty stuffed Capsicums or bharwa shimla mirchi, prepared from left over aalu paratha stuffing , added some more ingredients and given new Avtar . Goes well with soft phulka, chapati naan or paratha

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Left over aalu ka paratha stuffing 2 cups
  2. Grated onions 2
  3. Roasted chana dal flour 1/2 tablespoon
  4. Amchur powder 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Oil 1 tablespoon
  10. Grated cheese or Paneer 1-2 tablespoons
  11. Pinch of sugar
  12. Ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon
  13. Boiled green peas 1 tablespoon optional

Instructions

  1. Left over aalu ka paratha stuffing
  2. In a mixing bowl take left over aalu paratha stuffing and add all above mentioned ingredients
  3. Mix well and prepare stuffing
  4. Scoop out capsicum and remove it's stem and seeds
  5. With gentle pressure stuff capsicum with ready mixture
  6. Heat oil in a pan and cook stuffed capsicum . Cook covered for next 5 to 10 minutes , Check and turn in between ..cook evenly from all sides
  7. Laslty garnish with some grated cheese or paneer and serve hot immediately with chapati phulka naan or paratha ..
