Potato egg basket

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. 1 parboiled potato
  2. 1 egg
  3. Salt and pepper for seasoning
  4. Dried herbs of your choice
  5. 2 tsp oil


  1. Grate the parboil potato.
  2. Take a round bowl, turn it upside down and place and shape the grated potato like of that bowl.
  3. Generously sprinkle salt and pepper on the weaved potato basket.
  4. Heat a tawa, keep the potato basket carefully on the tawa and cook in slow fire until the colour starts changing to brown and the potato basket looks crisp from outside.
  5. Break one egg in a bowl and slowly pour it on the basket, sprinkle salt and dried herbs of your choice.
  6. Cover the basket with a big bowl and cook until the egg is cooked thoroughly.

nice one dear. But we need to turn the potato basket after cooked to pour the egg in it. so that time what precautions should we take not to Burn the the Potato.
