Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Maggi Pazzta Mushroom Penne - 1 Packet (64g)
  2. Water - 2 cups 
  3. Garlic powder -1/2 tsp
  4. Peri Peri mix - 1 tsp
  5. Mozzarella Cheese grated - 1/2 cup
  6. Dried basil - 1 tbsp
  7. Ingredients for Tart: 1 cup All purpose flour 
  8. Sugar - 2 tbsp
  9. Butter - 3 tbsp
  10. Ice cold water as required
  11. Beans for blind baking the tart

Instructions

  1. TAKE 1 CUP FLOUR, ADD 2 TBSP SUGAR, 3 TBSP BUTTER
  2. CRUMBLE THE MIXTURE, ADD SUFFICIENT COLD WATER & KNEAD INTO A DOUGH
  3. COVER & SET ASIDE THE READY DOUGH FOR 15 MINS
  4. DIVIDE THE DOUGH INTO SMALL PORTIONS, ROLL THEM INTO BALLS
  5. ROLL OUT SMALL ROUNDS
  6. PUT THEM INTO BUTTER GREASED TART MOULDS, PRESS DOWN GENTLY
  7. PRICK IN 3-4 PLACES TO PREVENT THE TART FROM PUFFING
  8. ADD A HANDFUL OF KIDNEY BEANS IN THE TARTS, BAKE FOR 15 MINS IN A HOT OVEN
  9. ADD 2 CUPS OF WATER TO A PAN
  10. ADD 1 PACKET OF MAGGI MUSHROOM PENNE PAZZTA & THE TASTEMAKER WHICH COMES ALONG WITH THE PACK
  11. MIX WELL, BRING IT TO A BOIL
  12. ADD 1/2 TSP EACH OF GARLIC POWDER & PERI PERI MIX, SIMMER FOR 2 MINS
  13. THE PAZZTA IS READY, TAKE OFF HEAT
  14. SCOOP THE COOKED MAGGI PAZZTA IN THE READY TART SHELLS
  15. SPRINKLE A HANDFUL OF GRATED CHEESE ON TOP
  16. SPRINKLE SOME DRIED BASIL & PERI PERI MIX
  17. BAKE FOR 5-10 MINS IN A HOT OVEN
  18. THE TARTS ARE DONE, COOL A LITTLE, UNMOULD & SERVE
