ABOUT Spaghetti With Garlic Chicken And Cheese. RECIPE

This is simple Italian dish with little Indian twist.I use two Italian sauces which gives spaghetti a good tangy yet creamy taste.I infused chicken cubes with garlic and little cumin and red chilli flakes which soothes the Indian taste buds. It is a wholesome meal need no side add ups . My kids love it and we all enjoy this dish speacially on weekends.Its easy to prepare .I hope you all will surely try this and give me feed back.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Ingredients for spaghetti
  2. • Spaghetti 500 gms packet
  3. • salt two teaspoon
  4. • water for boiling.
  5. 1/4 cup oil
  6. Ingredients For Pasta Sauce
  7. • 1 1/2cup of Tomato Puree
  8. • one small onion finely chopped
  9. • 4-5 garlic finely chopped
  10. • 1/2 teaspoon Chili flakes
  11. • 1/4 teaspoon oregano Dried
  12. • half teaspoon sugar
  13. • half teaspoon black pepper
  14. • half teaspoon dried Basil
  15. • Salt to taste
  16. ingredients for white sauce
  17. 30 grams butter
  18. • one and a half tablespoon flour
  19. 350 ml milk
  20. • Salt to taste
  21. • black pepper 1/4 teaspoon
  22. • oregano half teaspoon
  23. Ingredients For Garlic Chicken
  24. 300 grams boneless chicken cut in cubes.
  25. • 2 teaspoon chopped garlic
  26. • 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
  27. • 1/2 teaspoon grated Ginger
  28. • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  29. • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  30. • 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
  31. • 1/4Cup water
  32. • Salt to taste
  33. 2 tb sp olive oil
  34. Ingredients for toppings
  35. • ½ cup mozzarella shredded.
  36. • ¼ cup Parmesan crumbled.
  37. • ¼ cup cheddar cheese shredded.

Instructions

  1. Boiling of Spaghetti •
  2. Take large pot filled with water. •
  3. Add 1/4 cup of oil in it to avoid sticking of a Spaghetti •
  4. Add 2 teaspoon of salt • bring the water to boil •
  5. Break Spaghetti in to halves •
  6. Add spaghettis into the boiling water •
  7. Keep staring while the spaghetti is cooking •
  8. Wait till the spaghetti are tender •
  9. Drain the spaghetti and pour the cold water over it •
  10. Keep it aside •
  11. Toss the spaghetti time to time to avoid sticking and a let air pass through it.
  12. Preparation of Pasta sauce. • .
  13. Heat oil in a saucepan •
  14. Add chopped garlic and onions •
  15. Cook till translucent •
  16. Add tomato puree •
  17. Cook for 5-6 minutes keep stirring •
  18. Add salt ,basil ,pepper, red chilli flakes and Oregano and sugar •
  19. Cook while stirring for more 2 to 3 minutes •
  20. Keep aside
  21. White Sauce Preparation •
  22. Melt butter in a saucepan. •
  23. Add flour and roast a little bit in butter. •
  24. Add milk little at time to avoid forming of lumps. •
  25. Add salt ,black pepper Oregano and keep stirring till the sauce starts thickening.
  26. Cook on low flame for one and half minute while stirring. •
  27. When sauce is thickened turn off heat. •
  28. Strain if you see any lumps. •
  29. Keep the white sauce aside..
  30. Preparation Of Garlic Chicken.
  31. In a pressure cooker ,heat oil •
  32. Add chopped onion ,ginger and garlic. •
  33. Cook till translucent. •
  34. Add 300 grams boneless chicken cubes •
  35. Now add salt ,cumin powder, red chilli flakes and Red Pepper powder. •
  36. Fry for one or two minutes
  37. Add one fourth cup of water and give pressure till 2 full whistles. •
  38. Turn off heat and let the pressure be off. •
  39. Check chicken pieces if they are tender or not,
  40. If not then add little water and give pressure for 2 more minutes. •
  41. Reduce all the water and make chicken pieces dry. •
  42. Keep the chicken aside.
  43. Layering and Baking .
  44. In a microwave or oven dish layer one third of a Spaghetti.
  45. Now add tomato Basil sauce over it. •
  46. Now layer one third of the chicken pieces over it •
  47. Over the chicken pieces layer more Spaghetti •
  48. Layer again with tomato sauce and chicken pieces. •
  49. Make three layers like this •
  50. On top spread left over tomato sauce •
  51. Now pour white sauce all over the spaghetti layers •
  52. Pour white sauce over the top most layer
  53. Top the white sauce with half cup of shredded Mozzarella cheese , one fourth cup of shredded cheddar cheese , and one fourth cup of Parmesan cheese •
  54. Microwave at Convection setting 200 ℃ for 8 to 10 minutes. • Or in preheat oven at the same temperature and for the same amount of time •
  55. Bake at 200℃ for 5-8 mins Till all cheese is melted.Don't over bake as cheddar cheese get dry in over baking.
  56. Yummy cheesy ,creamy, tangy Spaghetti with Garlic chicken is ready to serve.
