ABOUT Farfalle pasta in Chickpeas Sauce RECIPE

Pasta in Chickpeas Sauce, a delicious and healthy pasta recipe with creamy chick peas sauce without any cheese or cream. I know many people who don't like pasta because of its very mild flavor, since we indians used to have spicy and tangy food, right?? But i'm sure even those people like this chickpeas pasta.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Farfalle Pasta - 1/2 cup
  2. Cooked Chickpeas - 1/2
  3. Onion - 1 (small)
  4. Tomato - 1
  5. Garlic - 1 cloves
  6. Salt & Pepper - to taste
  7. Olive Oil - 2 tsp
  8. Italian Seasoning - as needed

Instructions

  1. First bring a pot of water into boil, add salt & pasta and cook the pasta as per the package instructions. Drain the pasta and keep it aside. Reserve some cooked pasta water too
  2. Finely chop the onions, garlic & tomato into small pieces, heat the pan with olive oil and add the onions & garlic. Saute till the onions becomes translucent, then add the tomatoes & saute it till it becomes mushy.
  3. Then add the enough salt & pepper and the cooked chickpeas and saute it in masala for few mins.
  4. Add 1/2 of the cooked masala into mixie/blender jar and grind into smooth paste and add it back into the remaining chana masala along with some pasta cooked water.
  5. Bring the masala to boil, add the pasta and coat it well in the chana masala. That's it, Chickpeas pasta is ready to serve. Sprinkle some italian seasoning on the top while serving.
