  • tomatoes - 6-7 no.s

  • salt to taste
  • jeera powder -1 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • coriander powder - 1tbsp
  • Refined oil - 1 tbsp
  • Pure ghee - 1 tbsp

How to make Lauki with Tomatoes

  1. Heat oil in a pressure
  2. cooker..
  3. Add Jeera sabut, n
  4. chopped onions..
  5. Saute for 2 minutes..
  6. Add the tomatoes...
  7. Saute for 5 minutes.
  8. Now add the dry
  9. masalas..
  10. Cook on slow flame
  11. till the sides leave oil..
  12. Now add the lauki n
  13. mix well...
  14. Close the lid of the
  15. pressure cooker ..
  16. Wait for the first
  17. whistle then simmer
  18. the gas n leave for 7-8
  19. minutes...
  20. Switch of the gas..
  21. Let the steam get
  22. released..
  23. Adjust salt and spices
  24. Add pure desi ghee
  25. Serve hot with phulka

My Tip:

If you add tomatoes children will love lauki too..
