This puri is vrat special,made of kuttu atta and potatoes with mild spices,can be enjoyed with chutney or curd or just tea.

Ingredients to make Kuttu ki Poori

  • Kuttu atta 1.5 cup
  • Boiled potatoes 3
  • rock salt-1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper -1/2 tsp
  • jeera powder-1 tsp
  • Corriander leaves-3 tsp
  • water -1/2 cup
  • oil for frying

How to make Kuttu ki Poori

  1. MASH 3 BOILED POTATOES
  2. ADD 1.5 CUPS BUCKWHEAT FLOUR ( KUTTU KA ATTA ), 1 TSP ROCK SALT ( SENDHA NAMAK )
  3. ADD 1 TSP ROASTED CUMIN POWDER, 1/2 TSP PEPPER POWDER, 1/4 CUP CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES, MIX WELL
  4. ADD SUFFICIENT WATER, KNEAD INTO A DOUGH
  5. SET ASIDE TO REST FOR 10 MINS
  6. TAKE A SMALL BALL OF DOUGH, ROLL IT OUT, CUT NEAT ROUNDS
  7. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL
  8. FLIP & FRY UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP FROM BOTH SIDES
