ABOUT Sweet Fried Poha ( Mishti Chire Bhaja) RECIPE

Its my mom' recipe . Its sweet ,crispy fried poha or beaten rice . Though its sweet in taste but it tastes good with ginger tea specially in a rainy evening .

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Poha( Chire) -1.5 cups
  2. Sugar - 3/4 cup
  3. Oil-1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in deep bottomed kadai
  2. Add little poha at a time and fry until light golden colour, remove from heat and keep in a absorbent paper
  3. Again add lilttle poha and fry in the same above method..like this way fry all your poha
  4. After that If you have oil in a kadai then no need to add oil again , if there is no oil then add 2 teaspoons oil
  5. Add sugar , when it will start to melt , add all fried poha in it
  6. Fry on low flame until medium light brown clolour
  7. Stirring continuously this it can not be get burned from bottom
  8. Switch off the gas and let it come to normal temperature
  9. Then enjoy with hot ginger masala tea
