Ingredients to make Umm Ali

  • 1 can of Nestle Condensed sweetened milk
  • 8 pcs of croissants
  • 3tbsp of flakes of almond, raisins, pistachios, walnuts
  • 2tbsp of dessicated coconut
  • 1 tsp of vanilla essence
  • 4 cups of milk
  • 1 cup of whipped cream

How to make Umm Ali

  1. Cut pieces of croissants and place it in a baking dish. Add chopped flakes of some nuts and desiccated coconut over it.
  2. Take lukewarm milk and add Nestle Condensed sweetened milk to it and mix it well. When it cools add vanilla essence to it and keep it aside.
  3. Add more pieces of croissants over the first layer before adding the milk. Pour milk mixture over it, let the croissants swim.
  4. Spread the whipped cream over it evenly. Sprinkle some powdered sugar over it.
  5. Preheat oven at 200°. Then bake it for 20 - 25 mins till you get a nice brown colour.
  6. Garnish it with more nuts and serve hot or cold with scoop of ice cream or cream.
