ABOUT Basundi RECIPE

On the occasion of Diwali ,it is best dessert to serve your loved ones. Its absolutely Healthy and nutritious because of its Natural flavours of Milk with complement of Dryfruits.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 2 liter full cream Cow milk
  2. 1 bowl sugar /250gram sugar
  3. 15-20 julion shaped chopped Pistachioes
  4. 15-20 julion of Almonds
  5. 15-20 strands of Saffron
  6. 1 teaspoon cardamom+nutmeg powder

Instructions

  1. First of all Take a large size pan and start boiling milk on low flame.
  2. Keep stiring continuously with the spatula so the milk wont burn at the bottom.
  3. By the time chopped Pistachioes and Almonds.
  4. In a small bowl take little hot milk and dissolve saffron strands in it.
  5. Now after around an hour ,when milk will reduce at the half of its quantity add sugar n stir well.
  6. then after 10-15minutes add chooped deyfruits and Saffron dissolved in milk.
  7. Switch off the flame and let it cool on room temperature.
  8. Once the Milk get cool add cardamom+nutmeg powder and Put it in freez for 2-3 hours.
  9. As the Basundi gets cool its consistancy thikens.
  10. Serve chilled Basundi with the Garnishing of Pistachios ,almonds and Saffron.
