Ingredients to make Bhatt Ki Churkani

  • Bhatt Ki dal – 1 cup
  • ginger- garlic paste- 1 tbs
  • Chopped green chilli-1 tbs
  • Chopped onion- 1
  • Chopped tomato – 2
  • wheat flour-2 tbs
  • cumin-1 tbs
  • Red chilli powder-1 tbs
  • One pinch hing
  • Desi ghee- 3 tbs
  • salt – as to taste
  • Chopped green coriander- 2 tbs

How to make Bhatt Ki Churkani

  1. Take desi ghee in a cooker and heat it, roast bhatt dal in ghee in cooker, up to crackle condition.
  2. Remove bhatt dal from cooker than add cumin, heeng,chopped onion , add wheat flour, than Turmeric power in cooker ,cook till soft.
  3. Add red chilli powder, garam masala ,chopped green chilli, crackle bhatt, salt , mix all ingredients.
  4. Add 4 cup water. cook up to 4 whistles then switch off the flame .
  5. Garnish with coriander and serve with steamed rice.
