ABOUT Kadak RECIPE

This a traditional recipe of Kutch Gujarat. This is very tangy and tasty dish .

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 boil potatoes
  2. 4 toast
  3. 2 big spoon oil
  4. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  5. 1/2 teaspoon clove powder
  6. 1 tablespoon Kachhi Dabeli masala
  7. 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  8. 1/8 spoon turmeric powder
  9. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  10. 1 teaspoon salt
  11. 2 teaspoon tamarind chatani
  12. 1 spoon green chatani
  13. 2 big spoon finely chopped onion
  14. 2 big spoon finely chopped tomato
  15. 1 big spoon finely chopped green coriander
  16. 1 big spoon red pomegranate seeds
  17. 2 big spoon Frasan
  18. 2 big spoon thin/barik senv

Instructions

  1. Mash boil potatoes.
  2. Take oil in a pan and heat oil.
  3. Now add cinaman powder and clove powder mix well for 1 minute then add mashed potatoes.
  4. Take half a bowl water and mix all masalas with special Dabeli Masala.
  5. Add this masala mixed water in potatoes and mix well.
  6. Now add 1 teaspoon salt
  7. Saute for few minutes.
  8. Take 2 cups water inanother bowl and boil it.
  9. Add this hot water in pan and mix well.
  10. Bring a boil and simmer it for 10 minutes so that all masala wil mix with potatoes.
  11. Our dabeli bhaji is ready.
  12. Take 2 toast and break them in small pieces with our hands.
  13. Now take a serving bowl and put pieces of toast in it .
  14. Pour generously dabeli bhaji on it .
  15. Now pour green chatani,red chatani .
  16. Now add chopped onion,tomato,coriander .
  17. Now decorate with farasn and thin shev.
  18. Our "Kadak" is ready to enjoy.
