Ingredients Serving: 3

  1.    1.  Boneless chicken  -  200gm
  2. 2.  Garlic cloves  -  2
  3. 3.  Chicken stock cubes  -  1
  4. 4.  Carrot  -  3 pieces
  5. 5.  Oil  -  2 tbspn
  6. 6.  Ginger - greenchilli crushed -  3 tbspn
  7. 7.  Garlic cloves -  6 chopped
  8. 8.  Carrot  -  1/3 cup chopped
  9. 9.  Green cabbage  -  1/3 cup chopped
  10. 10.  Bell peppers - 1/4 cup chopped
  11. 11.  Soy sauce  -  2 tbspn
  12. 12.  Salt
  13. 13.  Pepper
  14. 14.  Egg  -  1
  15. 15.  Cornflour  -  2 tbspn
  16. 16.  Fried noodles for decoration
  17. 17.  Coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. In a pan of cold water, add boneless chicken, 2 garlic cloves, carrot 3 pieces, 1 chicken stock cubes and salt and cook for 10 - 15 minutes.
  2. Once cooked, skim the impurities risen on the top and strain this and keep aside. Chicken stock is ready.
  3. Add oil in a pan, add ginger greenchilli crushed, garlic, carrot, green cabbage, bell peppers and stir fry them.
  4. Then add chicken stock , soy sauce , salt and pepper as required and boil on high flame
  5. Shread the chicken breast and add it to the boiling soup.
  6. Beat an egg and add it to the soup followed by adding cornflour slurry as a thickner.
  7. Finally add coriander leaves nd delicious hot chicken manchow soup is ready to be served.  Serve it with fried noodles.
