Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Poha - 1 cup, well washed
  2. Aalo - 1 medium
  3. Oil - 2 tbsp
  4. Rai - 1 tsp
  5. Pyaz - 1 small
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. Hari mirch - 1 tsp
  8. Lal mirch - 1 tsp
  9. Haldi powder - 1/2 tsp
  10. Jeera powder (optional) - 1 tsp
  11. Chopped tomatoes - 2 medium

Instructions

  1. Wash the Poha thoroughly and put it on a sieve.
  2. Place wok on the gas, turn the heat to medium and add oil. After few seconds add rai and seng dana. Saute well.
  3. Saute till well roasted and a nutty aroma emanates. Add in the green chillies, if you want it spicy the add it chopped or else add it as whole.
  4. Add chopped onions and sprinkle salt followed by turmeric and jeera powder if using.
  5. Serve hot with tea or at breakfast.
