Gulab Nut is a fusion of Gulab Jamun and Donut . Another twist is this Gulab nut is soaked in Boozy Rum instead of our regular sugar syrup. I got this idea from my brother and just gave a try with no clue of how would it turn . Voila ! Was a superhit. Topped these boozy Gulab nuts with fresh pista cream . So why are you even delaying ? This recipe is not for children . Strictly an adult recipe .

Firstly soak semolina powder in 1/4 cup warm milk . Leave it until sooji looks soft .
Take gulab jamun instant mix in a wide bowl.
Add powdered sugar .
Add sooji milk to it .
Mix . Add milk gradually to form a soft dough.
Cover and rest dough for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, divide dough into medium sized balls , bigger than the actual gulab jamun size .
Now take each ball , press gently between palms , give a shape of donuts . Make a small hole in the centre .
Heat oil in a pan for shallow frying . Use generous oil for the best texture .
Shallow fry in low heat until all sides look golden brown just like regular gulab jamuns .
In another container, pour chilled rum.
Add cardamom powder to the rum.
Drop the hot gulab nuts in the rum .
Let them sit for minimum 1 hour . For the best result soak gulab nuts in rum for 8 to 9 hours .
While serving , prepare pista cream .
Blend pistachios, sugar powder with required whipped cream and grind to a thick smooth cream .
Pista cream is ready .
When serving , sandwhich pista cream between2 gulab nuts . Fill the centre with pista cream.
Boozy Gulab Nut is ready .
Serve chilled .
