Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Sweet corn 2 cups
  2. Fresh methi leaves 1 cup
  3. Milk 2 cups
  4. Water 1 cup
  5. Maida 2 tbsp
  6. Butter 2 tbsp
  7. Salt
  8. Pepper
  9. Fenugreek leaves dried 1 tsp
  10. Red chilli flakes
  11. Ghee 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Boil corn until soft in a pressure cooker. In a separate pressure cooker boil methi leaves only till 2 whistles.
  2. In a hot wok add ghee and roast pre boiled methi leaves for 10 mins.
  3. After methi leaves is roasted add sweet corn and saute for about 5 -6 more mins. Remove from the flame and keep aside
  4. Now in a flat wok add butter. Now add maida and keep stirring continuously.
  5. When the maida turns golden brown in colour pour milk gradually while stirring.
  6. As the gravy starts thickening add water and keep stirring.
  7. After a while add salt, black pepper , fenugreek leaves and red chilli flakes.
  8. Add kept aside methi corn mixture into the white sauce gravy. Switch off the flame when the gravy starts simmering. Taste best when served with veg biryani .
