Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boiled Potato ...4 medium size
  2. Cottage cheese 100 grams
  3. Boiled Peas 100 grams
  4. Green chillies chopped 4
  5. Ginger garlic paste one teaspoon
  6. Cumin seed one teaspoon
  7. Soda bicarb half teaspoon
  8. Salt ,red, chilli powder ,turmeric, Garam Masala one teaspoon
  9. Chickpeas flour or besan one cup
  10. Makhana two bowls
  11. Oil for frying


  1. Cut the boiled potatoes in an small pieces
  2. Take a kadhai and put it on the flame and add 2 tab.spoon oil , add cumin seed as it crackle
  3. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and curry leaves
  4. Add ginger garlic paste and then garam masala
  5. Now ad boiled chopped potatoes stir it thoroughly
  6. Add cottage cheese and boiled peas
  7. Stir it properly make a proper stuffing
  8. Now aloo badas stuffing is ready
  9. Make medium sized ball from this stuffing
  10. Now make a batter of chickpeas flour or besan, added with water and soda bicarbonate salt turmeric powder
  11. Make a thick batter
  12. Now spread all makhanas on plate
  13. Heat the oil on a a medium flame
  14. Dip the ball in besan batter and then roll it in makhanas
  15. Now put this Makhana rolled ball in hot oil
  16. Fry it and turn it time to time so that all makhanas will get fried properly
  17. And the unique aloo Vada is ready
