Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 3cup ildi batter
  2. 1tomato
  3. 1/2cup paneer
  4. 1/4cup green peas
  5. 1/4cup capsicum
  6. 2finely chopped green chilli
  7. 2 to 3tbsp green coriander
  8. 2tbsp oil
  9. Salt to taste


  1. 1) rinse and chop the tomatoes , capsicum,and ginger
  2. 2) also rinse the green chilli remove the stalk and chop it finely
  3. 3)take idli batter in a big mixing bowl and add all the following ingredients into it.chopped tomatoes,green peas, capsicum,small pieces paneer,green chilli,ginger,salt and green coriander into it.mix everything really well.
  4. 4) now preheat appam pan and pour some oil in each mould, then fill each mould with one tbsp batter.now cover the appam pan with a lid and cook the appam for 2min.on low flame.
  5. 5)when the appam turn golden brown in a colour flip the side and let them cook until golden brown and crispy.
  6. 6) take out the appam in a plate and likewise prepare all the appams.
  7. 7) serve appam with green chutney,tomato sauce
