Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For Dough
  2. Wheat flour 1 cup
  3. Water as needed
  4. For Stuffing
  5. Boiled potatoes 3 medium size
  6. Finely chopped onion 1 medium size
  7. Chopped green chili 1
  8. Chopped ginger inch
  9. Salt as per taste
  10. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  11. Gram masala 1 tsp
  12. Butter or oil to roast paratha

Instructions

  1. In a bowl take wheat flour and make a dough little harder than roti dough. Keep a side for 10 min...
  2. Mash boil potatoes and add onion, green chillies, ginger, salt, red chilli powder and garam masala. Mix well...
  3. Take medium balls of the dough and roll them out into 3 to 4 inch circles. Add a spoonful of potato filling in the centre. Gradually press the rolling pin on all sides while making the parathas. Be very careful to apply pressure evenly...
  4. Seal the dough and round it with the your fingers. Now roll them with the help of some dry flour...
  5. Press very lightly so that the mixture does not come out. Heat a tava and roast the parathas, cooking them on both the sides with a spoonful of butter...
  6. Serve piping hot with chilled yoghurt or pickle.
